Rooted in a legacy of love and creativity, Dhiiyaan (meaning family) Art blossomed through the collaborative efforts of Jess, her father Peter, and stepmother Samantha.
As a proud Aboriginal woman, Jess finds immense joy in sharing and celebrating her cultural heritage with the world. Residing on Wonnarua country with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters, she embodies a living connection to her ancestral roots in the Awabakal land, with familial ties reaching across Barkindji, Ngemba, and Gamilaraay-Yuwaalaraay territories of NSW.
Her art serves as a testament to the timeless allure of nature and its elements. Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes that surround us, Jess's creations reflect the intertwined themes of family, community, and a profound sense of belonging.
Dhiiyaan Art proudly stands as a member of the Indigenous Art Code, with membership number 5758, a symbol of commitment to ethical and respectful practices. Additionally, Jess is honored to be recognised as a NSWICC Member, having fulfilled all criteria of the NSWICC's Assured Program, certifying Dhiiyaan Art as an Aboriginal Owned, Operated, and Controlled Business.
The MRG acknowledges the enduring connection of all Traditional Custodians to this magnificent land, its waters, and its communities.
