A collection of hand painted works that draw from @mitchrevs childhood.

 

The works in this series offer interpretations of playful creativity and the idea of 'what if we didn't stop creating like a child, like the days when anything was possible, before we unintentionally set boundaries on our creative potential. As a result, the work is autobiographical in nature and depicts Mitch's childhood and fond memories.

 

The objective is to emphasise—that we are all born creative, and how we can reconnect with our childhood freedom of expression, to remind ourselves of what we have learnt along the way.

Overall, the series invites the viewer to reflect on their own journey and remember simpler times, before the internet and screens, when all we had was a piece of paper and a crayon.
